Care
Soft tissue work
Hands-on work on muscle, tendon and the tissue around a joint, with a few things to try at home between visits.

What to expect
What a visit is like
What a visit includes
A talk about what you train and what is tight, a short check of how you move, and soft tissue work on the area that matters to you. We show you what to try at home, and you can ask us to change the pressure at any point.
Pressure that you set
A few things to try at home
Clothes you can train in
An itemized receipt
How long and how often
A visit takes as long as the exam and the work need. Your doctor sets a plan after the exam and changes it as you go. We do not promise a number of visits.
What we do not claim
We do not claim soft tissue work heals an injury or speeds a return to sport, and results vary. Some people feel sore the next day.
We do not claim it flushes toxins or releases anything
We do not replace your physician or physical therapist
When to see a physician first
See a physician first about a swollen, hot or painful calf, a lump that is growing, numbness or weakness, or pain that is new or getting worse. Call 911 for chest pain or trouble breathing.
A visit is billed to your plan if we work with it, or paid at the visit. The fees page shows how.
Questions about this care
What should I wear?
Clothes you can train in. Shorts and a loose shirt work for most areas, and we drape or work over clothing as you prefer.
Will it be sore afterward?
It can be, for a day or two. Tell us how the pressure feels, and we change it.
Can I come the day before an event?
Yes, and tell your doctor what you have coming up. We do not promise that soft tissue work changes how you perform.
Ready to book a visit?
Tell us a good time to reach you and we will call, text or email as you ask.
- A sudden severe headache or neck pain, dizziness, trouble speaking or seeing, new weakness or numbness, numbness in the groin or saddle area (between the legs and buttocks), or new bladder or bowel trouble needs emergency care now. Call 911 or go to an emergency room.
